Thurs (18/12/08)- After testing out the food we are selling early in the morning, we are confident and ready to go all out to sell our products to our customers tomorrow(Hahahaz...actually a little afraid that things won't go too well!). Anyway, I had my very first KFC breakfast and I really love it!
During afternoon, my friends went off and I went over to my grandmother's house. Its been a while since I've visited her.

My grandmother is really creative. After the first time I taught her how to make cubes ( I'd even forgotten how I do it myself!) , she has been doing it at home. Took some photos of her handmade crafts in her room.

Paper holder - to throw bones and rubbish. Very environmental -friendly coz' it is made of reused papers.
I guess you've seen this in a wedding. No?
It looks something like this:

My grandmother made the flower ball using plastic bags. She mades many other handcrafts, which I didn't post up. I was amazed by her work.
We talked a little about life, food and TV. My grandmother also watches Little Nyonya. While chatting, watching TV, and browsing at some photos of the past at the same time, I found my father's photograph which he took when he was young. It's just right there.

Lovely pictures.
Don't you just love browsing photos that brings back fond memories?

Friday (19/12/08) - Sales was average today. Didn't make profit from the avenue. We were expecting more crowd tomorrow. =) My friends did lots of funny things. Gosh. I am smiling right now =)
Saturday ( 20/12/08) -
I love the menu! It is done by one of the cell members. How cute is it! Top sales among the 3 days! Finally earned back the money we've invested in. Tomorrow would be the day we would be earning money. Good job, people!
Sunday (21/12/08) - Last day of the event. I terribly miss the holidays even though there's another week to go. How I wish I have more time to do the things I like. It's been a VERY fruitful week. I've gained alot of experiences through my passage of life. Enjoyed it throughly in every single day, though it does exhaust me especially for the past 3 days.

I went to the Christmas@Katong' s stall for awhile. Then, I went over to my cousin's flea market to help her out. We didn't earned alot at the flea market. I just received news that we did made some profit at Christmas@Katong though. =)) So joyous this Christmas!!
I'm looking forward to the Christmas celebrations tomorrow, next Wednesday and Saturday!
*This Christmas, I wish for an extended holiday break, though I know, it will never come true. =)

So what exactly is Christmas??
The word Christmas is divided to - "Christ" and "Mas". The Christ part of the word relates to Jesus, while Mas means "festival". Combined the word Christmas actually means "festival of Jesus".
It was told that Jesus Christ was born this day. He is the Son of God , but was born on earth by a virgin woman, Mary.
After which, He died on the cross to pay the price of all those who have sinned.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23 (NIV)
And rosed again on the third day, which was told to be "Easter day".
Therefore, He was known to be the Light of the world that shines through all darkness as He brought Salvation onto earth. Christmas was then known as an joyous day of care and giving.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life [in Heaven]. - Paraphrase John 3:16 (NIV)
