IT fair

I took a day off from work to celebrate my secondary school friend's belated birthday as we were pretty close last time. Things changed after graduation. We weren't able to meet up with one another that often we used to be. I guess that's a transition in life. We meet new faces in different pace of life and react to things in a different attitude. I hope life could be simpler sometimes when things gets really complicated.

Anyway, I went to shop for present with another friend of mine, and two friends of hers whom are sisters. We went to Suntec IT Fair as well to get our own stuffs. My friend's friends bought mp4 each. I bought a digital camera. Initially, I'm was pretty excited and happy about my new toy but was slightly disappointed when I reached home. I am sure that I bought on impulsion again. :( Yeah, not the first time. The function wasn't really what I wanted, but was just right for my budget. Anyway, shall use the camera soon!

Got our birthday girl a bottle of hair mask, JCO donuts and headed to Tampines train station to meet more friends. We waited for nearly 20min for another friend under the birthday girl's block. He bought some 'bao' for his family. He later suggested that we could use the 'bao' instead of the donuts we bought to represent a cake.
We put candles on it and waited outside for the mum to open the door for us. The birthday girl locked herself in her room without knowing our arrival. One of them knocked on the door and she's on the phone talking to someone. She literally jumped up when she saw us and sang her the birthday song. Hahaz! It was hilarous!

We had a short chat. When browsing through the presents we bought for her, she was still shocked by the incident and didn't know how to react. Hahaz! It must be the most memorable time of her life.

I went home with one friend later on and both of us reminisce of the pasts secondary school's lifes. It was funny, unforgettable and precious. I felt that our friendships grew stronger after the talk. We were both happier after talking and left for home with smiles.

How I wish I have a story to talk about after I graduate from Poly too. Not too late to make life exciting, yeah?
