Hi blog! It's been a tiring week! It's well spent though!
Gonna spam this post with pictures! xD
Saturday (6/03/10) - Sentosa Outing with Atomic

MAN! I can't believe it! Somebody actually found tiny crabs at Sentosa beach! It was super cute!
I was rather disappointed as many people couldn't make it last minute for the event. Turned out that the event was meant for the graduating students.
Mon (8/03/10) - Job training day
I was quite tired even though the training starts in the late afternoon. Was a little frustrated when the meeting location changed and I wasn't inform, the briefing was delayed also. Felt awkward in the briefing as everyone seems to know one another, and I'm the only one who is being alone. After briefing, we went off and I went to bought my friend's birthday present.
Tues - Fri (9/03/10 - 13/03/10) - Furniture Fair @ Expo
Food provided!

Day 2 - Salted spaghetti with honey baked chicken and buttered mixed veg.

Day 3 - Nasi Lemak with Honey roasted chicken and sautéed cucumber

Day 4 - Fried Bee Hoon with fried shrimps, stir fried long beans and minced meat.
Bought to us by:

Very interesting menu, but disappointing in taste. It's either too salty and too oily. Anyway, we finished the whole box as most of us were hungry.
Enough of food, it's time to work:

I was assigned to be the helper for the event. Basically, the helper does everything. Packing, registering if your assigned partner is going for break, assisting, etc. It sounds like the easiest job around, but not really the case. We played the role of logistics, which means, work never stop coming to us. I pretty enjoyed it though most of the time the staffs and I would complain of being tired. HAHAZ!
Oh yah, I saw Wei Nan and Dan on the 2nd or last day of the event.

Replenish/Giving out water is also part of our job!
Some pics of the staffs:

LOL! I took a photo of my partner after taking this and this guy said, "Don't think I don't know that you are trying to get the snap shot of others! ...I will not let you take my photo. (paraphrase and translated from chinese)" The funny thing is, he was not aware that I already took his photo. >.<

My partner, Gary! Super helpful and taught me alot of things. He has been working in this field for quite some time. Managed to find out from him that he used to be a Temasek Engineering Student too, which means he is also my senior! LOLS. Such a small world!

The girl from NYP or NAP. Despite of her small built figure, she's very strong! She could carry 3 cartons of water at the same go, which only the guys can do it. This is the first time we worked in this furniture fair. We were assigned to do packing of show bags together on the first day of event. Crapped alot when we are tired. She really made my day!
Totally miss the times of work, though we only met each other for 5 days! It's been a great joy working with so many youngsters of my age. I've never work in such a conducive environment before compared to my past jobs.
I hope to work together with them again...maybe in the next furniture fair next year! LOL
P.S: I'm learning to surrender.
